Hey there, I´m Chanel, designer, branding enthusiast, and collector of fonts

Chanel Cook is a graphic designer, calligrapher, and cheese lover living in sunny Southern California. As a San Diego native, she takes inspiration from vintage and minimalist styles in her designs. She has been working in the graphic design industry for 8 years. Her designs range from the food and beverage industry to non-profits arts organizations. She loves encouraging the growth and engagement of small businesses through design and organic connections.

Chanel completed Design To Be’s first event series in August 2020. Design To Be is a community that elevates designers to become empowered, educated, and effective using EQ-based tools and practices. The three series that we worked on were Design To Be Curious, Design To Be Resilient, and Design To Be Fulfilled.

Being a creative never stops and Chanel also owns a calligraphy small business, Chanel Creates, where she focuses on day-of wedding signage and paper goods. Chanel Creates, formerly Dixie on Dallas, was named after Chanel’s pet bunny Dixie, when they lived on Dallas Street. With each piece, she likes to focus on creating items that can live in couple’s homes for years to come to remember their special day by. While Chanel Creates mainly focuses on weddings and special events, any and all new opportunities are welcomed! Learn more by clicking the Chanel Creates menu item above.

Her other passions include animal rescues, country music, and deep-diving on Pinterest to find the newest trends in design.
